It¦s just the security feeling u get from driving an above avrage sized car most ppl are after imo.
This whole trend is just stupid and silly, but what can u expect when the idTa was born in the US?

Hmm. Most people these days are angry at SUV drivers because Michael Moore told them to, and because it's trendy. However in their frothing lefty rage, they miss the most important part of why people drive SUVs: survivability.
If I'm driving a goddamn armour plated Escalade, and I get into a head-on car accident with some fairy driving a eco-friendly Prius with dual overhead fallopian tubes and a frame made of rainforest-friendly recycled Starbucks coffee cups, guess who's going to survive with bruises and scratches, and who's gonna have to be scraped out of my Escalade's wheel well with a pooper scooper? When you take the lives of your passengers into account, the economic impact of your vehicle falls far to the wayside - frankly, I don't care if a middle eastern family starves every time I turn the ignition because my SUV is so fuel hungry - I want that extra measure of protection the larger vehicle affords me.
Ok, i see your way of thinking, hell i¦ll prolly be thinking the same thing sometime in the distant future when i got a few kids in the back seat... why should i and my family suffer soz some idiot desides to take the car down to Mcd¦s for some burgers after drinking al day?
But what happens when we¦r al driving these huge monsters? Wount the feeling of safety vanisch when every car on the road is the same size again?
U can prolly see where i¦m going whit this.....
